Chase Youth Enrichment Fund

The Chase Youth Enrichment Fund provides financial assistance to youth from low-income families wishing to participate in enriching experiences like camp, sports, and afterschool activities. Enrichment fund dollars are critical in ensuring that enrichment opportunities are accessible to underserved youth, and therefore critical in keeping at-risk youth safe and engaged after school and during the summer months.

The fund was established as a memorial to Mayor James E. Chase upon his passing. Since that time, thousands of young people have been able to access and experience activities that contributed to their growth and development.

If you would like to apply for assistance, please click here for an application. Due to the volume of applications, the funding maximum per family, per calendar year is $100.00.  Payment will only be made to the organization children will be involved with, or retail outlet where sporting goods will be purchased.
Please allow up to two (2) weeks for processing.

“Not only does the Commission give students vital and practical experience working on service projects, but it gives us the confidence to start and lead projects on our own.”
